Translating Convexity into Practice and preventing leaks; Measuring the magnitude and interactive effects of Convex Characteristics and evolving the SACS tool to prevent peristomal skin breakdown.

This symposium will:

  • Present the results of computer simulations that elucidate the relative importance
of the different characteristics of convexity in achieving certain clinical outcomes.
  • Provide quantitative insights into the interplay between the characteristics of convexity.
